Daniel Webb

Originally from Lexington Kentucky, Daniel attended the University of Rochester in New York, studied Spanish and Russian, and played guitarrón in a mariachi band. In 2014, he moved to Arlington Virginia to work at GEICO, where a coworker got me interested in yoga. While go through her yoga teacher training, she introduced me to my first yoga class. In 2018, I had my fill of the 9-to-5 lifestyle and the commute, so I quit my job, lived out of my car for a few months, and completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification. I ended up living in Boston for a few years, where I taught yoga and started a data analytics consulting company. In January 2022, I moved to my grandparents’ old farm in Rixeyville, which had been vacant for several years. Daniel is very excited to see what the journey of life and yoga will bring joining our lovely community.

”As a yoga teacher, I take a curious and experimental approach. I love learning and trying new things, and I want to create an environment where my students can do the same—although I often find that I learn just as my students do! It is very important to me that each student feels safe and supported in my class, regardless of experience level, and hopefully gains some deeper awareness of how they relate to their body and the world around them.

When I’m not practicing or teaching yoga, I enjoy playing the piano, traveling, planning my garden plots, and looking at pictures of dogs wearing sunglasses.”
